This 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible is powered by a 400ci V8 equipped with three carburetors and mated to a perfect Tremec 5-speed manual transmission

This 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible is powered by a 400ci V8 equipped with triple carburetors and is paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. It is finished in blue over Parchment vinyl and equipped with a white soft top, 17″ wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and Hotchkis suspension components in addition to woodgrain trim, front and rear lap belts, and a Sony head unit with an auxiliary input. The car is said to have been refurbished around 2015 and was acquired by the current owner in April 2018. This GTO convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with copies of documentation from Pontiac Historic Services, a removed steering wheel, and a clean Missouri title in the owner’s name.

Finished from the factory in Mariner Turquoise, the seller notes that the body was refinished as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Equipment includes a white soft top, a power antenna, chrome bumpers and trim, stacked headlights, and GTO badging.

Aftermarket 17″ Rally II-style wheels are wrapped in 255/40 front and 275/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact DW Tuned tires. The car rides on a Hotchkis Sport Suspension system, and power-assisted Wilwood calipers are fitted over slotted and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The cabin is said to have been refreshed as part of the refurbishment and trimmed in Parchment vinyl, while painted interior surfaces were touched up in September 2020. Features include a Hurst shift knob, woodgrain trim, front and rear lap belts, and Pontiac-branded rubber floor mats. A Sony head unit with an auxiliary input is concealed in the glove box.

The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel was added following the owner’s acquisition, and the removed steering wheel is included in the sale. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A Pontiac-branded intake manifold vacuum gauge was installed on the center console in September 2020. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2,900 miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 400ci V8 is equipped with MSD ignition and breathes through three two-barrel carburetors that were installed under current ownership. The alternator bracket was modified and the front portion of the engine was painted in 2020. An oil leak is noted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is noted on underbody components.
