Dogs, especially big dogs, have always been a passion in photographer Andy Seliverstoff’s life. Seliverstoff, who hails from St. Petersburg, Russia, has also always loved photography. “But 4 years ago I decided to take it more seriously and now I feel I can’t live without it,” he writes on his website. “I love to photograph dogs and I focus completely on my dog photography.”
Recently, Seliverstoff has focused his attention on capturing the joy-filled bond between children and canines and he’s just published a beautiful new book, Little Kids and Their Big Dogs.
Take at some of the images from his wonderful series, with children and their big dogs enjoying winter!
First featured are a young boy with a Komondor, otherwise known as a Hungarian sheepdog.
The large Hungarian breed has a beautiful long, corded coat.
The breed’s traditional role has been to guard livestock.
The breed dates back to the middle ages and has been declared one of Hungary’s national treasures.
