Zeus is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky who is very independent. He certainly doesn’t like to be told what to do or when to get up in the morning.
So when his mom tells him it’s time to get up and go for a walk, he does what many huskies can do so well – he howls in protest. He hardly lifts his head as he howls and “argues” with his mom to stay in bed.
We imagine he’s telling his mom that he deserves to sleep in, just like humans do now and then. After all, he likes his morning sleep ins and to be lazy too. But he sure has energy to complain. And he complains as only a Husky can.
But his stubborn complaining isn’t something his canine sibling likes too much and the Shepherd jumps on the bed to encourage him to get going so he can go outside too.
It’s not the first or only time Zeus howls in protest. He’s been known to throw a tantrum when he’s feeling lazy and doesn’t want to go on a walk or when he wants a bath.
It seems that even Zeus finally realizes you can’t lie around in bed forever, especially if there’s breakfast to eat, adventures to have and more howling to do.
