by Oscar the Ringneck parrot loves a good game of Peek-A-Boo even if it’s with the neighbor’s cat. Thankfully Oscar is safely behind a glass window when he teases the cat by popping up and down under the window pane while the cat watches on from outside.
Oscar hides from view under the sill and then pops up to say “peek-a-boo!” The pet parrot might not be aware that the cat has other things in mind than playing a game. In fact, the cat’s twitching tail and intense stare indicate the cat is more interested in having the two-year-old parrot for lunch, and not in a have-friend-over-for-lunch sort of way. But that doesn’t deter Oscar who continues to play with the cat who lives across the street. It really is like a real-life version of a Tweety and Sylvester cartoon!

Oscar lives in Christchurch, New Zealand and is one of three birds in his household. He has his own Instagram page along with George and Poppy, the two other birds. Oscar loves playing Peekaboo with them too. Here he is playing his favorite game with George.
