1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

This 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau Coupe was procured by the vendor in 2024, and enhancements involved the installation of new tires and the substitution of the heater core and illumination systems. Adorned in crimson, complemented by fabric and vinyl interiors of a similar hue, this vehicle derives its vigor from a 350ci V8 engine allied with a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Features comprise 15-inch Turbine II wheels, hydraulically assisted steering, power-operated front disc brakes, a crimson vinyl landau roof, sport mirrors matching the body color, climate control, and an 8-track audio system. Previously auctioned on BaT in February 2023, this Monte Carlo registers 12,000 miles and is available in South Carolina with its owner’s manual, warranty information, and a pristine Michigan title.

The vehicle boasts a radiant red finish, and its features include a vinyl landau roof that matches, chrome bumpers, elastic bumper protectors, lustrous side trim, and twin sport mirrors coordinated with the body color. Recent enhancements by the dealer include paint restoration, application of a ceramic layer to the paintwork, and installation of headlights designed to match the original factory specifications.

The 15-inch Turbine II wheels are clad in 215/70 Travelstar UN 106 white-stripe tires, installed in the year 2024. The automobile features hydraulic steering and its stopping capability is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The interior seating, both front and rear, is swathed in red cloth and vinyl. Complementary red adorns the dashboard, door panels, and carpeting, while faux wood inlays lend a touch of elegance to the dashboard and steering wheel. Additional amenities include a climate control system converted to R134a refrigerant in 2023, a replaced heater core, analog clock, rubber mats, and an 8-track music player.

The dual-spoke steering wheel gives way to a dashboard featuring a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel economy gauge, an analog clock, and indicators for fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer records 12,000 miles.

Beneath the hood, the 350ci V8 engine, equipped with a two-barrel carburetor, was initially rated at 145 horsepower. An oil change was carried out recently in preparation for the vehicle’s sale.

Power is conveyed to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
