25-Years-Owned 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Sport Coupe 4-Speed

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa sport coupe, originally acquired by the seller’s father in the early 1980s, has been in the seller’s possession since 1999. The car is finished in blue with a black vinyl interior and is powered by a rear-mounted 164ci Turbo-Air flat-six engine paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Key features include dual side mirrors, 13″ steel wheels with simulated wire wheel covers, a telescopic antenna, front bucket seats, a push-button AM/FM radio, a Kenwood head unit, and a windshield defroster. The vehicle comes with partial service records, an owner’s manual, a factory service manual, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The exterior, finished in blue, is believed to have been repainted in the 1980s and features quad headlights and taillights, dual side mirrors, a telescopic antenna, and bright bumpers. Notable imperfections include a rust spot at the base of the windshield and some paint chips, which are shown in the image gallery.

The 13″ steel wheels with simulated wire wheel covers are fitted with 185/80 Michelin Steel Radial tires. The Corvair is equipped with a fully independent suspension, and braking is handled by drum brakes on all four corners.

Inside, the cabin has black vinyl front bucket seats and a rear bench. Interior features include a heater, a windshield defroster, a push-button AM/FM radio, and a Kenwood head unit, though the clock, heater, and interior dome light are currently nonfunctional.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, manifold pressure, and cylinder head temperature. The five-digit odometer reads 23k miles, with approximately 3,000 miles added by the current owner. The car’s total mileage is unknown.

The 164ci Turbo-Air flat-six engine, reportedly installed by the seller’s father in the 1980s, has an oil leak from the drain plug. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle, with additional photos of the underside available in the gallery.
