1971 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS

This car is an absolute beast! It has undergone a detailed ground-up restoration with fresh paint in 2021 and has only 630 miles since completion. The performance-built 454 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission offers an exhilarating drive. Dominate the streets in this super quick and sharp Chevelle, a perfect blend of speed, sound, and beauty.

EXTERIOR: This Chevelle, featuring the SS package, exudes a mean and sleek appearance. The high-quality Nevada Silver paint job is stunning, polished to a glass-like finish, and guaranteed to turn heads. The body is perfectly straight with exceptional panel fit and alignment, and the doors close effortlessly. Chrome trim and bumpers are in excellent condition. SS 454 badges and a functional cowl induction hood make a bold statement. It also features a fresh black vinyl top, smoothly painted racing stripes, front and rear LED lights, and factory-style rallye rims with beefy rear tires (275/60R15).

INTERIOR: The fully refurbished interior boasts reupholstered, supportive bucket seats and a matching rear seat. Door panels with SS badges, seatbelts front and rear, and a restored center console with a Hurst four-speed shifter add to the appeal. The dash pad and rest of the dash have been completely restored, featuring additional factory-style gauges and a Holley Sniper EFI digital display. The steering column and correct steering wheel with SS insignia are original, and the headliner, sun visors, and carpeting have all been redone. Even the dome light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The performance-built 454 engine is powerful and has only 630 miles since being bored 0.30 over and completely rebuilt. It includes a Holley Sniper EFI system, Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold, MSD HEI distributor, billet pulleys, and long tube headers. An aftermarket aluminum radiator with dual electric fans ensures consistent cooling. The engine bay also features power steering, a new power brake booster and master cylinder, and a body-color painted steel cowl induction hood. Fender wells and firewall are finished in smooth black paint.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is pristine, with the underside of the lid and jamb painted as slick as the exterior. New weatherstrip, reproduction mat, and tire cover, along with a full-size spare, are included. The trunk pan is solid and freshly painted with a factory-style spatter finish.

UNDERSIDE: The undercarriage is meticulously detailed and well-maintained since restoration. It features front and rear sway bars with fresh links, new upper and lower ball joints, adjustable coilover shocks up front, boxed rear control arms, and new shocks and springs. The front disc brakes have fresh calipers and rotors, and new lines throughout. The long tube headers and a 3″ dual exhaust system with Spintech 9000 Super Pro Street mufflers deliver an amazing sound. The robust 12-bolt rear end and the freshly serviced Muncie 4-speed manual transmission are ready for action. The floors are solid, rust-free, and coated with neatly applied black paint.

SERVICE: Our lead mechanic has thoroughly inspected this car, installed a backup light switch, rewired the volt gauge, replaced upper control arm bushings, lubed door hinges, and re-flared a brake line.

This meticulously restored car delivers killer performance and stunning looks. It’s fully dialed in and ready to drive anywhere, standing as a true icon of American muscle car history.
