A bicylist came to the rescue of a tiny dog who got loose and was running in dangerous traffic in Mexico City. The bicyclist’s GoPro camera shows the harrowing chase from her POV as she tries to catch up with the tiny dog.
The dog – which looks like a Yorkshire Terrier – has his leash on and is frantically weaving through cars. Cars narrowly miss hitting the dog who frantically races across the streets as the woman chases after him, recording the harrowing chase.
After several near misses a construction worker on the sidewalk notices what’s going on and manages to get a hold of the dog. The cyclist, who is not the dog’s owner, is heard on video saying, “I need to look around because I don’t know whose [dog] it is.”
The brave cyclist narrates her rescue in the YouTube video from Calaverita Bike, explaining how she came to rescue the dog.
She did find the dog’s owner as you’ll see in the video. He eventually catches up with them and was out of breath from running after them.
