He decided to help him since he was in danger, but now he is surrounded by pure love. Griffon is one of those dogs that always seems to be fortunate. The six-month-old stray had given up hunting for a home since he had been living on the streets for so long. His roaming finally landed him into the arms of a guy who saved him at the most unlikely of places—a foreign naval facility.
The slogan of the U.S. Naval Commander’s unit is “Those who arrive alive, leave alive,” and he knew it had to apply to this small being as well. A Facebook post from Paws of War, a group that trains service dogs for soldiers and first responders. The U.S. Naval Commander saw the small dog and knew he wouldn’t last long alone in such a perilous environment. He quickly picked the puppy up into his arms as he was reminded of his unit’s mission.
Everyone at base was excited to see Griffon after hearing about him.
According to the statement, “When the Commander took on Griffon’s care, he established a great attachment with the pup who now accompanies him everywhere.” “Little Griffon joined the family as a member. Everyone who interacts with the dog experiences happier days.
Griffon will be adopted by the courageous commander who shall remain nameless, and brought home with him when he returns to the nation. The commander and Griffon will soon be reunited, according to Paws of War spokesman Gary Baumann, despite the paucity of information.
Baumann thinks Griffon is a fantastic puppy. He LOVES every dog he meets and enjoys both food and dogs. He’s doing great, actually.
We want to meet together once again soon,” Baumann continued. The commander is from Maryland, and his wife and children will be there to welcome him home.
