Halloween is fast becoming THE holiday to dress up the fur kids not just the human ones. It seems every year there are stand out costumes – we’re looking at you Kate and Kellan – but this year a new doggie queen of costume has been crowned, and she didn’t even have to put a costume on!
Keki is a puli, a Hungarian breed known for their naturally curly “dreadlocked” hair. Her human decided to dress her up as a mop to participate in her town’s Halloween doggie parade and let’s just say, she was a natural!
“Mop Dog” quickly won everyone’s hearts (and Halloween), when showed up at MainStrasse Paw-Rade in Covington, Kentucky, dressed up as herself!
Granted, Keki did have some props supplied by mom that made her costume really shine – a mop handle and a yellow bucket she could be pushed around in.
As soon as the pictures hit the Internet, “Mop Dog” became an instant sensation. “This is the greatest thing in the world right now,” one Twitter user proclaimed. Others shared their photos and videos and gushed over their encounter with “Mop Dog”. How could they not? She was clearly enjoying herself and an obvious crowd favorite.
It just goes to show, you don’t have to dress up to stand out in a crowd.
