402-Powered 1970 Chevrolet El Camino 4-Speed

This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino, purchased by the seller in 2017, has undergone a thorough refurbishment. The restoration included a fresh green paint job with white stripes and the installation of a rebuilt 402ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car’s suspension and brakes were also upgraded, and the interior received new black trim and bucket seats from a late-model Camaro SS. Notable features include a cowl hood, 15″ American Racing VN501 wheels, front disc brakes, a Weiand intake manifold, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The vehicle comes with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Originally finished in Forest Green, this El Camino was repainted in 2021. The exterior boasts a cowl hood, white stripes on the hood, quad headlights, a drop-down tailgate, and SS badging. The seller confirms that the glass and seals were replaced, with the rear window and door glass now tinted.

The 15″ American Racing VN501 wheels are fitted with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The vehicle features power steering, with power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drum brakes for stopping.

The interior includes bucket seats from a 2018 Camaro SS, complemented by black trim. During refurbishment, the dash pad, headliner, door panels, and carpets were all replaced. A Hurst shifter is installed, although the Custom Autosound stereo remains disconnected.

The two-spoke steering wheel, wrapped in an aftermarket cover, fronts a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, analog clock, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An aftermarket oil-pressure gauge is mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows just one mile, though the total mileage is unknown.

The refurbished 402ci V8 engine features a Weiand aluminum intake manifold and a Holley four-barrel carburetor, delivering power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
