350-Powered 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop

This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop underwent extensive refurbishment, completed in 2020. The following year, a fuel-injected 350ci V8 engine was installed, paired with a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission. The refurbishment also included refinishing the body in gray and coral and updating the interior. Key features are Vintage Air climate control, a retro-style head unit, and Classic Instruments gauges. The car rides on staggered Foose wheels with Viking suspension components and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Acquired by the current owner in 2023, it is offered with a clean Arizona title.

Originally finished in two-tone Shadow Gray and Coral, the car was refinished during the 2020 refurbishment. Exterior details include hooded headlights, dual chrome mirrors, back-up lights, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers and trim. A crack in the left window is shown in the gallery below.

The car features 17″ front and 18″ rear Foose wheels with 245/45 front and 255/45 rear Nitto tires. The Wilwood brakes have black calipers and cross-drilled, slotted discs on all four wheels. A CPP steering box and Viking control arms and coilovers are also included.

Inside, the cabin has a split-back front bench and a rear bench upholstered in gray cloth and coral vinyl. It is equipped with a retro-style Bluetooth stereo, Vintage Air climate control, bowtie-patterned trim, and lap belts.

The aftermarket steering wheel is mounted on an Ididit column and is in front of a Classic Instruments combination cluster with a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer reads 3k miles, with about 1,600 miles added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.

In 2021, the Chevrolet Ramjet 350ci V8 was installed, featuring fuel injection, Doug’s headers, a Walker radiator, and a billet serpentine belt system.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission.
