1966 CHEVROLET IMPALA

What a stunning Impala with Super Sport trim, featuring a unique color and an aggressive stance! It’s equipped just the way you like it, with a powerful 496 stroker engine and a 4-speed transmission, along with modern comforts such as air conditioning, power windows, power steering, and power disc brakes. This beautifully restored car also comes with a comprehensive folder of receipts.

EXTERIOR: The profile of this car is truly captivating, with its voluptuous curves that really stand out. The heavy doors open without sagging and close smoothly, reminiscent of a new car. The Artesian turquoise paint is a breathtaking color, polished to a glossy, reflective finish. A custom cowl induction flapper from a Chevelle has been tastefully added to the stock hood, and it functions perfectly. All the chrome shines brilliantly, and new wheel well moldings have been installed. The bumpers have been refinished, the windshield replaced, and the remaining glass is original with only minor scratches. The windows feature new weatherstripping, and dual side mirrors with the bow tie logo add a nice touch. The Boss wheels look fantastic, sized 18×8 in the front and 18×9 in the back, equipped with performance tires.

INTERIOR: The interior boasts several desirable features, including a restored dash with stylish Dakota digital gauges and electric slide climate controls. A retro stereo fits in the factory slot, connected to 6×9 speakers in the back. An Ididit tilt column with a thick walnut steering wheel has been installed. The seats feature new reproduction upholstery, and the factory console is in great shape with a correct chrome 4-speed shifter. New door panels and armrests, power window switches, and a complete set of factory seat belts enhance the interior. The carpet looks good, and the headliner, visors, and mirror have been replaced. All interior lights are functional.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood, you’ll find a big block 496 stroker engine packed with performance parts like a Comp Cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 carb, MSD ignition system, and ceramic-coated headers. It’s dressed in factory-style chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Modern upgrades include a Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system, hydro-boost power brakes, and power steering. The alternator, squirters, and horns are all operational. Cooling is managed by a four-core aluminum radiator with an electric fan, in addition to the engine fan. The engine compartment looks clean and well-maintained.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk lid and jamb are nicely painted, and the inside features solid metal with a spatter finish and a reproduction mat. It comes with a good spare tire and a working trunk light.

UNDERSIDE: The front-end steering and suspension appear to have been recently rebuilt, with new springs and shocks in the rear. The custom exhaust system is impressive, with stainless electric dumps that can divert the exhaust to straight pipes or through full-size cherry bomb mufflers all the way to the back. The brake system has been rebuilt and upgraded with front discs, new lines, and a functional e-brake. The fuel tank, straps, and sending unit are new. The motor is clean, featuring an anodized extra capacity oil pan and a high-torque starter. It has a rebuilt M-20 Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. The floors are solid with a thin undercoating, and the frame is clean with a semi-gloss black finish.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and made adjustments to the rearview mirror and console, replaced the antenna, and serviced the master cylinder.

Experience full-size fun with this Impala! Open the exhaust dumps and shift gears when you want to unleash its power. Roll up the power windows and turn on the A/C to stay cool.
